There are stories that remind us why the outcome of laser hair removal It isn’t just measured by what we see in the mirror. They show how this treatment leads to a change in lifestyle. Because hair removal is part of everyday life, and a change in even just one daily routine transforms everything.
We particularly value the stories from customers who share not only whether they are satisfied, but why they opted for a particular procedure, what was worrying them before they had it, and what the result looks like years later.
Radoslava Manolova, founder of Hairholic, has been a client of Body Aesthetics almost from the very beginning. Her journey with laser hair removal began following a period of highly sensitive and reactive skin, pregnancy and childbirth. Today, some seven years after completing her course of treatment, she explains why she considers laser hair removal to be one of the best treatments she has ever had.
„Years ago, because of all the hardships my body had been through, it began to become extremely sensitive.“

Radoslava explains that during this time even her bed linen starts to irritate her skin. Using an epilator and a wax strip becomes too painful, and her skin reacts strongly after hair removal.
After pregnancy and childbirth, a razor remains the only practical solution.
„Caught up in looking after Magdalene, I had largely neglected myself, which I believe most mums do. About a year after I gave birth, I decided that mums are people too and that I needed to do something for myself.“
Radoslava found out about the opening of Body Aesthetics through a group of mums whose children were born in November 2016.
What catches her eye is laser hair removal using an alexandrite laser.
A consultation follows, but treatment does not begin straight away. At this point, Radostina is still breastfeeding, and the team advises her to wait because of hormonal changes and their potential impact on the results.
She decides, however, to start a little before she stops breastfeeding for good.
Radoslava is taking a full-body course lasting about a year and a half.
It has been approximately seven years since she finished the treatment. According to her, during that time she has had only 3–4 maintenance sessions in the intimate and underarm areas, and has had no need for treatment in the other areas.
„I’d completely forgotten what a hairy girl I used to be. I have dark hair and I used to have dark hair all over my body, including my face. Actually, I should say that in the past tense – I used to have.“

For her, there is another aspect to the result – the freedom not to have to constantly plan for shaving, waxing or hair removal.
Based on her own experience, she lists four things she would check when choosing a laser hair removal clinic:
At Body Aesthetics, Radostina undergoes her treatments using Candela’s GentleLase Pro medical laser system; the treatments are carried out by medical professionals under the supervision of Dr Tracheva.
„Without a doubt, the best treatment I’ve ever had done on myself is the permanent removal of the hair I don’t want.“
There is a certain irony in the fact that it is Radostina, of all people, who is telling this story.
Her professional interest lies at the other end of the spectrum – how to protect our hair, look after our scalp and improve the condition of our hair.
Radoslava is the founder of Hairholic – a space dedicated to hair and scalp care, where she shares her knowledge and experience and offers personalised consultations.
So we’ll leave the final words to her:
„There are hairs that are unwanted.“
For those of us who want to keep our hair – Hairholic.
For those we’d rather part ways with – Body Aesthetics.
This is Radostina Manolova’s personal experience of laser hair removal at Body Aesthetics. The results of laser hair removal vary from person to person and may depend on the area being treated, hair and skin characteristics, hormonal factors, the technology used and other individual factors.
Laser hair removal leads to a permanent reduction in hair growth, but does not guarantee the removal of every single hair for good. With suitable hair types and a full course of treatment, hair reduction can reach 80–90%, and any hairs that remain or grow back later are often sparser and finer.
Individual results depend on the area, the characteristics of the hair and hormonal factors.
For many people, a course of around 6 treatments leads to a significant reduction in body hair. On the face, 8–10 or more treatments may be required.
Treatments are carried out at intervals depending on the area: face – approximately every 30–45 days; body and arms – approximately every 45–60 days; legs – approximately every 60–90 days. We will discuss the approximate number of treatments you will need during your free consultation.
A follow-up examination is carried out if and when you notice any growth that concerns you. This is sometimes necessary following hormonal changes – such as pregnancy, a hormonal imbalance or the menopause.
Most often, maintenance treatments are required only infrequently – every 1–2 years or depending on individual circumstances. With a package of 6 treatments, you receive a permanent discount of 25% for maintenance procedures in the same area.
No. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications for laser hair removal, and the hormonal changes during this period may affect hair growth and the results. We will assess when it is appropriate to start during a consultation.
You can feel something during the treatment, but only a small proportion of clients describe it as painful. Most liken it to a slight prick, a pinch or a sensation of warmth, similar to a rubber band gently snapping against the skin.
We use lasers from Candela’s Gentle Family range and a cooling air cryo-jet, which is why the treatment is much more comfortable than a cold mask or an epilator. During your free consultation, you can try a few test shots.
Yes. The laser works by targeting the pigment in the hair, which is why the results are most predictable with darker hair. Laser hair removal is not effective on white, grey or red hair, nor on very light, downy hair.
With the GentleLase Pro alexandrite laser and the GentleMax Pro Plus Nd:YAG laser, we can treat all skin phototypes, with the specialist selecting the laser and settings on a case-by-case basis.
