Look out for the first radio advert for the Body Aesthetics laser centre on Radio 1, featuring the warm voice of Dr Nedelya Shtonova. We invited her not only because of her competent and professional on-screen presence and medical authority, but also because we feel her outlook on health and beauty resonates with us: “cook for yourself, eat good-quality food, exercise, pray, learn, be kind and love”.
Dr Nedelya Shtonova is a specialist neurologist and practises analytical and cognitive psychotherapy. She undertook her specialist training at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, and the Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou, Paris. She is a member of the European Society for Clinical Neuromusicology and of the Italian Giorgio Brunelli Foundation, which conducts research into spinal cord lesions. Prior to “The Spirit of Health”, Dr Shtonova spent 10 years as the author and presenter of the educational programme on health and proactive health culture – “Before Medication”. She is the co-author, with Prof. Rumen Stamov, of the books *Pain and Its Treatment* and the marriage counselling guide *You and Me Together: Is It Possible?*.
The material Dr Nedelya Shtonova was first published on Body Aesthetics.
