We know that, for many of you, visiting beauty salons is currently out of the question due to the increased risk of infection, and we fully understand why.
We know, however, that there are also many people who try to maintain as much of their normal daily routine as possible, not just because it keeps their spirits up and their mood positive. The more important reason is that, at this stage, we already know that we will have to learn to live with Covid-19, that the threat will not disappear in a month or two, and that it is up to us to rise to the challenge.
If you continue to lead a relatively active lifestyle, we advise you to do so sensibly and in moderation. Choose a small circle of people to socialise with outside your family or work commitments, and do so outdoors. Choose safe and responsible places to visit carefully, and check what their policies are – how they protect you and themselves.
We’ve decided to explain in great detail how we’ve chosen to work, to ensure that we’re not adding to the difficult situation – as well as doing our best to smile and keep you in good spirits!
We have spacious area, which is proving to be very important at the moment. We chose the building we are based in because of the superb light and high ceilings, the abundance of fresh air and the atmosphere. We have set up four treatment rooms across more than 280 square metres. Today, this choice allows us to ensure the safety and security of our clients. Not only do we do our best to ensure that your appointments do not overlap, but should this happen by chance, clients wait at a considerable distance from one another in a very large, constantly ventilated (15 minutes every hour on the hour) room.
As well as air conditioning, we have ventilation in every classroom, which is designed so that it can operate during the procedures themselves and continuously extract air from our treatment rooms. This helps to ensure that the air in the rooms is constantly being renewed.
We aim to we take an environmentally friendly approach In this situation, where there is increased use of single-use protective equipment – we dispose of single-use gloves, socks and all waste separately; we recycle everything we can; we collect bottle caps from the bottles we have to use; and we have a water filtration system instead of a machine with plastic bottles. Part of this environmentally conscious approach is our decision to offer laser hair removal. Laser hair removal is the most environmentally friendly option. Unlike shaving, waxing and personal hair removal devices, we can treat thousands of people with a single machine, and it doesn’t require any single-use consumables. With our laser, we do not even need to use a contact gel, as is the case with many other laser devices.
Last but not least – We have introduced special terms and conditions for the use of prepaid packages or treatments, to assure you that, in every situation, we seek to act in the best interests of our customers first and foremost. In the event of force majeure circumstances that prevent us from carrying out treatments, the validity periods of prepaid services will be extended for as long as necessary. For example, following the state of emergency declared on 13 March 2020, we carried out absolutely all prepaid treatments for all clients, regardless of the expiry date for their use.
At Body Aesthetics, we prioritise the health and safety of our clients and staff above all else. We’d like to share with you the most meaningful thing we’ve heard recently regarding the situation. We have already seen that people who look after themselves – who don’t drink, don’t smoke, eat healthily and take vitamins and supplements to make up for what they can’t get from their diet – get through the illness much more easily. The toxins with which we overload our bodies – through unhealthy food, for example – hinder the recovery process. That is why we would like to remind you: NOW is the time to learn to take better care of our health and of ourselves. Because that is the only thing that can stop the virus in the long term.
