We know that at the start of anything new, we make promises that are difficult to keep, and afterwards we often feel bad because we haven’t managed to follow through. That’s why today we’d like to offer you an easy-to-follow plan that will make you feel good about looking after yourself and others. And remember – no grand New Year’s resolutions!
Take out any items of clothing you haven’t worn for over a year, and get rid of anything with stains or holes that you won’t be cleaning or mending. Gather up all the unnecessary accessories you’ve been keeping for sentimental reasons. Donate them to people for whom these items will be treasures; they will keep them warm and be of much greater use to them than they ever were to you. And here’s an idea from us on where you can take them and receive genuine gratitude straight away – https://www.facebook.com/CRWBG
Get rid of all the temptations that you’ve no doubt enjoyed to your heart’s content over the festive season. Anything containing sugar, white flour, fizzy drinks and fatty foods. Pack them away carefully and take them to the rubbish bins – someone will be very happy to receive these treats, which are currently just making you feel guilty. Replace them with fruit and vegetables and have two detox days where you drink only water and eat only raw fruit and vegetables until you’re full. Your body will thank you for it!
Slip under the duvet first thing in the morning with just a book in your hand; leave your phone and computer in the other room. Sleep to your heart’s content! Nothing makes us feel as good as a rest free from electronic distractions.
Make that long-overdue phone call that you never seem to find the time for or aren’t in the right frame of mind to make. Tick that „task“ off your list and take a moment to enjoy the fact that you’ve got it done. You’ll feel much lighter and more at ease.
What do you really want? Something important, something special that you’d like to have in your life, something that would make your day easier or simply more enjoyable? But it’s a bit of a treat! Go on and treat yourself, and try not to worry that you could have done something more useful with the money or time you’ve set aside. When we deny ourselves our desires, we create a sense of deprivation that we cannot compensate for with cheaper or quicker substitutes, and in the end we spend more money and time on things that aren’t quite what we want. Make it a rule – buy only items and services that you need or really want. The satisfaction is many times greater.
We at Body Aesthetics We know that sometimes we need to take small steps to feel truly good. We know this from our clients, who, with every treatment and every small change, gain more self-confidence and more energy. That’s why we’d like to encourage you – take small steps towards your big goals!
